They said stage 3 will be out in 2 weeks...it will be good for 418hp on 93 octane...and will cost $7000-

I guess Cali is out. We got 91 craptane..

that's just for the kit right? how much would it then cost to install?

they said 91 octane will give you 409hp

don't know yet but they said it comes with lots of plumbing, so????

oh my god that is some $$$. What is included? I hope more than a maf, injectors, and RS4 turbos
 

and software to run it on gas that So Cal, AZ people can't buy:P Plus, what is the TQ rating, that is very important too.

But I'd take 93 at the pump so don't have to mix.

fuel pump, maf, injectors, turbos, manifolds and maybe intercoolers

I think that is just the parts. Count on another 2k-3k for the install.

You "know' one can get all the parts themselves and do it for 2/3 price but...

I was under the impression down pipes were included in the kit.

i belive that figure is if you have apr software already..higher otherwise
 

i think it was $500 higher if you don't currently have an APR chip

APR is in Cali .. I'm sure they will release a 91 octane program. AWE kit is going to be cheaper,
 

from what I've been told. Although the contents will be different of course. Time will tell.

Only 91 at normal pumps here though. :(
 

Seriously doubt that with the phase out of MTBE, the octane will jump to 93 octane like some have mentioned here.

I think this is on top of you already owning a turbo back exhaust. So DPs are out
 

I figure this:

RS4 ICs, some pipes to connect them
RS4 turbos and inlet pipes <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/1134/intake_pipes.jpg">
Some MAF
Some injectors (most likely around 400s or less)
RS4 Y pipe
and maybe a Bi pipe
oh, and BPVs

So do I get the prize? I think that is pretty close. It'll be good to see some more RS4 turbo cars on the road.

No, they are in Alabama. They have distributors of their product in California though...like New Dimensions.

Several places in SoCal with race gas at the pump but to have higher 'normal' octane would be awesome.

418 hp???? Why would I want that if Zerins car with just turbos is suppose to make 400hp?
 

It is very obvious that Zerins car on stock fuel is not making that or their marketing is very flawed.

exactly, now this is what pisses me off the most, APR tuned both cars so either their final kit is
 

weak-sauce or they bull****ted us on Zerins dyno run. Either way, like I've been saying all along, just K04 are not going to get you 400hp. I suggest either Zerin needs to change his ad in ebay because its all bull**** or APR needs to go back to the drawing board.
