Lovejoy, hwj, bitrbo...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/alcan_style.gif"></center><p>The deal on the recaros is...

To get matching front Recaro style seats (euro S4/RS4 style), powered, in leather or leather/alcantara to match the stock materials would cost about $2,400-$2,800 each, installed. (Including everything) Took me only a week to get that number after emailing and calling all across the country for the seats, brackets, alcantara, leather, etc etc etc. It would/will take time and effort to make them since I just wouldn't want the standard Recaro leather. Result is what you see above, though. :)

Oh, no airbags, and no heat, though. :P

Am I the only one actually considering this? (has been on my mind) But wait, Imola people, people (people?)... you can get yellow alcantara, too... and red.... and.....................

I want to put a bench seat in my S4. That's CLASS.

Does Recaro make a coin-op vibrating model?

hwj 10-31-2000 08:08 AM

Mmmm, blue Recaro.

Wow, that looks cool. Thanks for tracking down the info, Jessica. Certainly not in the budget for me right now, but who knows, down the line? Though I'm gonna need to slim down my pudgy American @$$ if I'm gonna squeeze into a sweet Recaro like that.

Like the blinking eye sig.

Jessica, are they lower then the standard seats?

I could really use some lower seats to fit a helmet in the car....I'm too tall otherwise.

Thanks,

doug

Whoa, pretty pricey... any idea on how much they weigh?

GRocky 10-31-2000 08:27 AM

pretty "ricey" ;-)

tompa 10-31-2000 08:36 AM

Only if you can mount your shift lever on the steering column.

jessica@s4.org 10-31-2000 08:38 AM

Not sure (but)

I'm sure someone could answer that question for me at some point.
