ok the plot thickens...
my turbo inlet pipes are black not silver im confused....
|
nice :) if you look further down the pipes how are the two pieces joined?
|
what or where should I look..where the inlet tube connects?
can I see the connection from above. this is becoming more confusing by the minute. I dont have an easy way to look from below but maybe tomorrow I can get to the bottom of my mystery turbos

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/873550.phtml</a

You can see it from the top on one side or the other, follow the black pipe down about a foot.
They are very different :)

W0w build date of car?

For reference, this is what a K03+inlet pipes system looks like:

What the hell is that.. What line is going into the intake pipe side?
|
Did Vin Diesel get ahold of your car or what?
|
It's a stock turbo + inlet pipe :P
I believe the line on the side is for the N75 valves reference pressure. The N75 wants to regulate pressure relative to what's at the turbo inlet, which may or may not be equivalent to atmospheric pressure, intake restrictions, dirty air filter all contibute to pressure drop at the turbo inlet.
I don't have a diagram to verify though :) |
