Default what or where should I look..where the inlet tube connects?

Default You can see it from the top on one side or the other, follow the black pipe down about a foot.

They are very different

Default It's a stock turbo + inlet pipe :P

I believe the line on the side is for the N75 valves reference pressure. The N75 wants to regulate pressure relative to what's at the turbo inlet, which may or may not be equivalent to atmospheric pressure, intake restrictions, dirty air filter all contibute to pressure drop at the turbo inlet.

I don't have a diagram to verify though
