Might have something to do with the ports too......

and did you forget the melting heads?

Funkweasel 01-20-2003 11:23 AM

APRs bipipe fails waterpumps and timing belts?? Proof?

Roughedgez 01-20-2003 11:23 AM

i am talking about where the intake runners from the manifold meet the heads

Blitzkrieg 01-20-2003 11:24 AM

Nope I would rather have the lower C/R than the huge ports.

Funkweasel 01-20-2003 11:24 AM

He's talking about the intake ports of the head. Without porting them

you'll just have a nice big step between the rs4 intake manifold and the s4 heads.

Funkweasel 01-20-2003 11:25 AM

Damn, you beat me by a minute! ;)

SmokinS4™ 01-20-2003 11:27 AM

That's IF it's not properly installed...and ther have been allot of reports lately about it.

I asked a buddy about his installation and he told be that he had 1/16 inch clearance to his fan blades.....personally, I'd like to see a little more clearance.

Blitzkrieg 01-20-2003 11:30 AM

Get the RS4 pipes 8^)

Driving Excitement! 01-20-2003 11:32 AM

I thought the RS4 intake manifold only bolts up to the RS4 throttle body?

SmokinS4™ 01-20-2003 11:33 AM
