Oil caked inside turbo inlet. What could be the cause?

If you your car is older, you may want to consider replacing the Oil seperator (PCV) plus the turbo oil supply screen & check valve. There is a TSB for the earlier models on this. While true, the OP's picture with the oil in it is of the short intake tube where there is no PCV connections. I'd be worried an oil seal was about to go but I don't really know for sure.
