Default More photos of Meteor Gray and Quartz Gray?

Hi! I am trying to decide between ice silver, quartz gray and meteor gray. This site has been really helpful! Thank you everyone.

I have done a search and seen all of the photos of the quartz gray and meteor gray already. I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to post more photos of your Q5 in these colors please? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks again!!!

Default I have Quartz with the Cinnamon Interior

I'm glad I ordered this combination. I saw it on an A5, finding it impossible to actually seeing it on a Q5. While it doesn't appeal to everyone, I really like how the brown compliments both the black and quartz grey. They aren't the most telling photos, but I took them last week on my way home from picking the Q5 up (before the bad weather started).

mac-ct - thank you so very much! I love it!!! I am really sold now on the cinnamon interior! I guess that means that ice silver is out... hmm...

It seems like quartz gray does have a slight bluish hue to it, doesn't it? Or is it just the photo? It's great.

I think that Deep Sea Blue and Cinnamon is a wonderful combination too, but I am just too scared to have DSB because of the bad weather here... it will just be impossible to keep clean. After having a black car for 6 years, I am done with the high maintenance colors... LOL

Would you have some photos of the front and rear too?

I hope that the blizzard-like conditions will be leaving you very, very soon!

Thanks again.

BTW, I forgot to say - the Audi website showed that the cinnamon interior has cinnamon leather on the door handles too. However, in real life, it does not. Isn't that very annoying? It would look so much more luxurious if it actually does!!!

IMO, just the photo. I see a silver/gray color only in mine.

Your welcome. Sorry I don't have any additional photos at the moment.

IMO, I don't see blue in the photo and I am not particularly good at describing colors. I do, however, find it an attractive color. It's dark enough that the chrome still pops, but not so dark that it shows everything.

I agree that the DSB is a great color. It's just too dark and high maintenance for me. The Meteor Gray was my second choice. I think it's an unusual color because it seems to change its hue based on lighting. I have seen it when it looked deep gray, charcoal as well as a bluish purple. To me, this is a color one needs to see in person. In the end, I opted for the Quartz, preferring the lighter shade.

Good luck in what you decide.

Check out my posting from October when I picked up my S-Line in Quartz gray. I have pics of front, back, side, and even top.

Hi mac-ct and rfmassa,

Thanks! I LOVE your Q5, rfmassa! The S-line package really makes everything pop. In fact, the S-line packages makes almost all colors look great! I think that the chrome trim with the S-line package makes everything "pop"! However, I can't justify spending all that money for the S-line package so I can only drool at your photos!!!

I went to the dealership lot today to look at some colors. They had a couple of quartz gray Q5 there. However, they only had the base 18" rims - to me, the 19" 5-spoke rims really help to make things "pop" too. With those 18" rims, QG looked OK.

There was no Q5 with meteor gray today, but then they had other cars with the meteor gray. It was a very strange color because it looked different from different angles, different lighting, so it's hard to judge!!! :-) I really need to see that on a Q5 with the 5 spoke rims to be absolutely sure, but some of your pictures already showed that and it was a nice color.....

The ice silver was lovely. However, it cannot come with my preferred cinnamon interior.

DSB was great too, but high maintenance....

So, I guess my top choices are now:

1. Quartz gray or meteor gray + cinnamon (depending on what the dealer can get)

2. DSB + cinnamon

3. Ice silver + black

Thanks everyone and keep the photos coming!

Ordered the wife her Meteor Grey Prestige S-Line yesterday.

Pics of a similar vehicle can be seen here: http://forums.quattroworld.com/q5/msgs/138.phtml

By the way....has anyone done rear seat entertainment for kids in the Q5? I have a bag DVD player in my RS4, but I want it integrated in the Q. Will the Invision system fit?
