Yet another example of a company worried more about profits than the safety of the customers. Wonder if they realise people are more inclined to stay loyal if the company will be honest?

I don't understand why it's take so long to admit problem. Start with 335i in Oct 2006 and only in 2010 October recall 130,000 car.

Trying to cover up the problems to prevent loss of money I guess. Toyota tried that, a person would think BMW would have learned from this.

They failed. I enjoy driving my S4 everyday day because of the HPFP. I would have gotten a 335 had they handled this properly rather than extending the warranty on the pump.
