DSG Paddle extensions!

DSG Paddle extensions!
For anyone with DSG paddles in their car, driving aggressively in manual mode means stretching your fingers or moving your hands around the steering wheel when you dont want to.
Now theres this awesome solution and it works great. These are made out of billet aluminum and they are super light but very strong. They look great on the car and work in practically any hand position. No more shuffling!
Install was very easy. They have extremely sticky 3m tape on them so making sure they are where you want them is critical. They have grooves cut in and just line them up before you take the tape off to make sure the fitment is good. Once that is done, take the tape off and "lightly" put into place. If they arent on straight or youre off by a small margin, you can still pull them off if you "lightly" applied pressure. If they are in the right place then just sqeeze them on the OEM paddles. They will stick immediately.

You appear to have the first ones for B8.5 and C7s. My black ones should be arriving next week after they are anodized. You might want to share your experience with install, use, etc.

Could you please share some before shots of the stock paddles and the additions? I read earlier about the fitment might be different on the C7 cars. Thanks.

They are slightly different. Audi changed the design in 2012 for C7s and 2013 for most other series. At his request, I sent photos of my paddles and Ron compared them to the 2013 B8 he had at his disposal - they matched the new shape. The ones he has just started machining now will fit paddled 2012/13 C7s.

Thanks, but personally I really don't see the purpose for these. Are the OEM paddles that difficult for people to use? They are easily accessible and user friendly for me, even during very spirited driving
