Default New to Audi/S6

I just put down some money on a 1995 S6 and wanted to introduce myself. After many years of BMW ownership I've decided convert over to Audi for a while (can't wait for the snow). The car has had the timing belt, water pump, and coil packs done within the last 20k miles. It is currently riding on "cut" springs and I desperately need to replace them ASAP as the ride isn't to my liking and the ride height is super slammed.

What do you guys suggest for a daily driver as far as springs/shocks? I've ran Koni Yellows w/ Eibachs in the past on Bimmers and have been pretty satisfied.

good lord thats low. Lots of opinions on springs around here. IMHO depends entirely on local road conditions. Nice roads and no deep snow the eibachs/ konis are hard to beat. The H&R have a loyal following but multiple reports of failures - though they are readily available. The 92 springs or the euro sports are the ideal compromise IMHO - but they are tough to find (92's) or expensive (eurosports from alex @ europrice).
Really depends on where you live and what you need.

Jamie,
What are some decently priced vendors that cater to the UrS4/S6? I've checked out shox.com and they only stock H&Rs. Does Alex@ europrice have a website?

When looking at the bilsteins on shox.com they have specific models for S6 cars equipped with or without o/e sport suspension. How do I figure out if the car has the sport suspension option? Can I run the vin through a decoder or something?

sport suspension was in europe only with the exception of the '92 which were different form the rest - basically the same as the euro sports.
H&R are the only ones readily available from multiple sites - but again multiple failures are reported here.
Haven't seen eibachs listed anywhere for awhile.
Europrice does have a web site http://www.europrice.us/ - they aren't cheep - basically double the price of the H&R - but they are the OEM euro sport spring. I'm running them with bilstein sports but if I had it to do again I'd get the Konis.

Hey JUTTERB, nice car.
My wife and I were visting Denver three weeks ago and were walking through the highlands looking for a place to live and we walked right by that car. It was so clean, waaay too low, but clean none the less.
When we got back to Boston I was looking for S6's and S4's and came across that one. If only I had known it was for sale!

I have Eibachs with OE Shocks/Struts. I had had Bilstiens but found them too harsh.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I officially took ownership of the car today! Super fun car, can;t wait till it's on some decent suspension. I ordered the H&R/Koni package from Shox.com and it should be here next week. the car is soooooo low, horrible ride, wont go up curbs, etc. Other than that I'm very happy with the car and will update after the install.

Zba- too funny, small world huh? My girlfriend and I are also currently looking at the Highlands for a place to purchase a home.

I have been running the H&R sports with Bilstein Sports for a while.

Comfortable, compliant, predictable...
