SQ5 custom courtesy door lights
 

I couldnt find these anywhere so had some specially manufacturered.These are not off the shelf items and you cannot buy these anywhere else in the UK or abroad.

You can even rotate the projection so it can sit across the door entrance or in line with the door itself.

can we make a custom image. it is as easy as replacing the sheet of film with your own design?

They are not a basic film insert.

They image is built into a small projection unit.

can you please elaborate. is it a JPEG type of file and it a has a small CPU that runs a small projector system?

It is an image printed onto a lens which is then built into a projection tube lit by an LED.

OK tnx. that is an expensive way to do it

why not like the old slide projectors. they could even done it like professional slides, where the image was sandwiched between two pieces of glass so that it would remain flat even with hot air from the bulb. not a case here with LED

You run the risk of damp ingress and discolouration

These are all over ebay / amazon and have been for some time. I'd rather buy from them personally then some guy reselling them for a profit. gl tho

Just so I am clear...these dont work using an image on a plastic film? These dont ever fade?

Not at all, they are not a basic film stretch over a light.

They wont fade and wont be subject to ingress.

I can vouch for the very good quality. You often see ones with Audi rings and the S logo but not SQ5 logo.

Received mine and installed them last week. Great quality product from Chaznik they look amazing (just like the thread pictures show). He's super responsive to pm's and questions and provides tracking info once they ship to you. Buy with confidence from him while he still has sets for sale. I shopped around for awhile looking for puddle lights and these are the only ones that say SQ5 I've seen for sale.
