OBD Eleven is free to do long coding/adaptations with PRO version. Credits are only for the short cuts for pre-written apps to skip the long coding/adaptations. It's a fantastic tool and an excellent price point and fast with Next Generation.
I had VAG-COM in the past, but it's not able to be used with the later models. This was a major downside and it was more cumbersome since it needed to be attached to a laptop. I haven't used the new products from RossTech.

I like the fact that Rosstech will upgrade/update the cable and software if I get a future VW/Audi that requires an update. Moreover, the resale on their cables appears to be pretty decent if I ever decide to get rid of it altogether. |
