question about url and AW cell phone viewing
why the address is forums.audiworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=64
and not simple like it used to be forums.audiworld.com/sports
i still get error on my cell phone
Error connecting SQL server
Error #2002 Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket'/var/lib/mysql.sock' (2)
i have no problem to view front page

Both with the native BB browser and Opera I can view the forums and threads pretty well. Not sure which I like better.
Actually logging in was much more of an adventure. With the native BB browser it hung during the redirect after logging in. I was able to still go into history and find a previously viewed page and it did recognize that I was logged in. So I worked around the hang.
With Opera you need to remember that it forces the first character to always be a capital letter. So you need to double strike the first letter then go back and erase the capital. It also however hangs during the redirect. Again going to a previously viewed page, it thankfully does recognize the login as well.
Later versions of vB seem to work much better with mobile platforms. Our local Audi/VW forum is running 3.8.1 and it seems to work quite well with most mobile browsers.

With the BB browser, yes I can see all the replies. Although they are sort of muddled together and it's difficult to see where the last reply ends and the next starts. A little tweaking and formatting might help some.
With Opera, no all I see is "a" post. I didn't dig into it enough to see which reply it was in the thread. I think I prefer how Opera overall formats the pages, but Opera as a whole still has a lot of bugs. I keep both bowsers close at hand as I find I have to go back to the BB broser for many sites. I do see on the post that I used that there are two pages, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get to the second page nor to view any other reply.
So for the moment it seems that you can't use Opera to view AW.
