Factory Alarm Sucks
Our factory alarm is crap.
If you've pressed the panic button you can already tell how lame it is. Flashing lights and a pretty quiet beep beep beep.
Today I realized how crappy it really is. I broke 20 lug nuts on the vehicle. jacked it up and down 4 times for each wheel and then torqued them back to spec. With all that rocking and shaking along with jacking up and down, the alarm never went off.
How can it not go off? is there no tilt sensor? No motion sensor? terrible.

Probably you need to post that on that thread: STOLEN. Looks like they want everybody to have a garage 
. My 02 A4, one time i was on a long trip of 10 hrs driving. I had to stop in a rest area to get a nap. This was around 2am so I locked the car WITH THE KEYS from inside and once I move the car immediately starts beeping. Happened 2 times till i figured out what is this, so I locked it by the door latches not the keys.
