First RS5 Build
Starting this thread because I'm new to doing anything aftermarket to cars so I'd appreciate and recs/tips.
Installing the Air Intake on the RS5 was one of the first things I've done on a car, sad I know.
Majority of things will be done at a shop here in AZ.
Parts installed so far:
034 P34 cold air intake (will be replacing with X34, IE Carbon intake, or APR Carbon intake)
Bull X res delete
Parts ordered:
APR Carbon Fiber Engine Cover
Carbon Fiber ECU cover
Carbon Imports V2 spoiler
Wishlist:
Wheels/tires
Full body wrap
Karbel Carbon Dry Carbon Fiber Radiator Cooling Plate
Karbel Carbon Dry Carbon Fiber Fog Light Trim Overlay
Future Design Blaze Body Kit.
Wagner intercooler radiator
Stage 1 tune
One of the next things on the list is most likely wheels/tires.
Current is 20x9 275/30/20
Some wheels I'm liking are Stance SF10 and BCForged RZ21.
Color I'm most likely going with would be black.
I see a lot of people talk about spacers, would they be needed on the rims above?
Black wheels do look nice with Glacier White (I have Satin Black) however the only thing I do not like is that in the bright AZ sun the details of the wheel get lost since the white reflects pretty hard.
As for spacers, it depends on the wheel specs you go with. I do not have spacers with my 20x10.5 ET25 setup. Your best bet is to work with whoever you are going to buy your wheels from to get the fitment right, especially if the wheels can come with different concavities.
If you care about keeping your paint in good shape I would also HIGHLY recommend getting PPF installed ASAP. PPF + ceramic coat was the first thing I did to my car, no regrets. I went with the 10mill film from XPEL cause I wanted that little extra protection (normal PPF is 8mil) and XPEL of Scottsdale was reasonably close to me.
I see you are in Mesa. If you are looking for a good group of local Audi enthusiasts to hang out with on occasion you should consider joining the Audi Club of North America Arizona Chapter. They are more active than what the ACNA website shows as most communication is currently via their private Facebook group. They just had an All Audi show at Westfield this weekend and another meet-up is scheduled for 10/21 in Chandler. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Carbon fiber engine and ecu cover came in. Waiting on the Karbel radiator cover and strut brace to get delivered.
I just bought the p34 air intake a couple weeks ago and haven’t decided if I should get the X34 just to complete the carbon fiber look.
