Default TGK sway bar upgrade

Finally pulled the trigger on the TGK front and rear sway bars and the matching adjustable end links for the S8. One of the best mods I did on my old C5 RS6 was Hotchkis sway bars, and for the longest time I didn’t see any reputable options for the D4 until TGK released these about a year ago.

I went with the softest setting up front, and the firmest out back. Result: predictably, it has much less body roll, and rotates better. Can take 90 degree corners at 30 MPH without any drama. After the first few years just doing power modifications, the last couple really improve the overall experience.

no install pics as Tyler has a YouTube video tutorial, but here’s all the hardware laid out. Highly recommended.

Literally was going to be my next upgrade, as putting any more power into this in my area will likely result in worse decisions than the ones being made currently. How does body movement feel in passing ant highway speeds and apex of turns at higher speeds? This has been the one i’ve looked forward to the most?

How do transient loads fare? I don't like how long it takes these to lock back in if you rapidly switch, does this solve that "problem"?

I’ll need to do additional testing to confirm. I have a 270 degree freeway on-ramp that’ll be a good test of higher speed body roll reduction, and then I can do some more spirited lane changes to check the settling response.

I’m also lowered 14mm (on average) and run 285 30 22 on a 10.5” wide wheel so those assist with grip and reduced tire flex already.

This kits looks sweet! I wonder if the greaseable sway bar mounts will stop the horrible screeching noises that happen in the cold winter?

Hopefully they do. It's annoying to have to spray them here and there to quiet them down

I'd definitely like to do these in the future.

It's not you sway bar mounts that you should NOT grease.
Common misconception.

It's your control arm links

Except it's usually not.....the links can make noise but when you already replaced them you quickly find out it's the bar rotating in the bushing lol!

Yes, same in my experience. It's the bar rotating in the dry hardened bushing that makes the terrible creaking noises over speed bumps and things.
