Looking for Auto Stop Start mod for 2025 Q5 new model

there’s no factory way to permanently disable Auto Start-Stop on the 2025 Audi Q5. You can turn it off with the A button, but it resets every time you restart the car. Some owners use aftermarket start-stop eliminator modules that plug in behind the button and automatically default it to OFF each drive, or try OBD coding tools (OBDeleven/VCDS), though results on 2025 models are mixed and may affect warranty. Sport/Dynamic mode can reduce how often it activates, but it doesn’t fully disable it.

I added an aftermarket start-stop eliminator module/harness to my 2024 Honda Ridgeline and it works flawless. I was just looking for the same for the 2025 Q5 new model. I found one for the previous model, but my dash looks different, so I assume it will not work. If I get a reply from the company that made it, I will post here.

Good timing, I actually have a start-stop eliminator module specifically for the 2025 Q5 (new model) available for sale. It’s designed for the updated dash/layout and defaults to OFF every startup, just like the Ridgeline solution you mentioned. Plug-and-play, no coding, and fully reversible. If you want, shoot me a PM

Thank you Kevin. That was my guess after reading the post but I thought I would check anyway. I have been looking hard for a Start/Stop eliminator solution and I guess I am still looking. I know you can temporarily pause the feature but I never think about it until it shuts the engine down the first time. Fortunately that is the only complaint I have about the vehicle so far.
