2024 Q7
I have been trying to find where my emergency module is located so I can replace the backup battery in it. My SOS red light has come on. Trying to avoid the dealer. Anyone had this problem? Audi 2024 Q7

It's a 2024, it's under warranty. You take it to the dealership and let them deal with it.
If you want to DIY, then you start with a scan using VCDS and see what the actual issue is. Then perform the necessary to fix the actual issue.
If the actual issue is the backup battery in the J949 telematics control module, it's under the front right seat, under the carpet, up next to the center tunnel between the left seat rail mounts.

This is a common issue in late model Audis. Happened on my MY24 S4 a couple months ago & dealer said it was fixed by following a TSB. Happened again just a few days ago, but I haven't contacted the dealer about it yet, but I certainly wouldn't attempt a DIY repair on this issue.

The 4M came out in 2015, long before the J949 architecture. The first 4M with the J949 would have been the Q8 (4M8). Probably just carried that forward. Your MLB evo based vehicle is going to have parts from a lot of different MLB evo types. Probably 4N steering column stalks, 8W wheel hubs, etc. Same for any of the unified architecture vehicles.
