'26 HUD question
Thanks!
This can be different to the main binacle, so you can have your maps on the binacle , or the tach, with two boxes either side displaying other information and the HUD reading whatever option you want.
I have a '26 which is already in for repairs, and a '25 on courtesy car. The 25 MMI feels outdated to the 2026, BUT, the information in the two boxes on the main binacle is better on the 2025, the 2026 is limited - try getting trip data like mpg etc in one of those boxes on the 26, I think it's impossible. The 2025 software is easier to use if not more limited.
Overall, the software feels very much unfinished on both.
And just wait till you have to deal with a dead battery...

The HUD cycles through car view with driver assistance, minimal (just speed and limit), media (just station on XM). Various alerts also pop up briefly, like station change and phone. The View button gets tach, car view, or map. I have the HUD in a '25 Q6 and prefer the '26 Q5, 'all depends on what you like. The cockpit is finally able to show song title, the Q6 just shows album art that requires bifocals.
2 months this week, everything works.

I've tried to see if they can be activated but not had any luck at at all. Its such a poorly designed software, go and try a Range Rover Velar or a Jaguar F Pace, and its all simple, makes sense and is user definable.

I can't remember the last car I had that had a dead battery, it had to be over 15 years ago.
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
Yup, four days without use and the battery was completely dead, wouldn't even open the doors. There are lots of report of the batteries being knackered from the four months it takes to get from factory to door in the UK, and Audi pushing back on replacing the batteries. I imagine I will be in for some pain.
The car was also delivered with the external trim in the wrong colour and a wireless charger that stops working after ten minutes.
Audi have been, horrific to deal with.
