2007 S6 AC pressure sensor replacement help
AC stopped working in my 2007 S6. We have checked it, the pressure is perfect on the H and L side too. I mean phisycally perfect.
The error code it throws is the 00256. In real time data, the sensor reports absurd numbers 50+ bars, so I thought this would be worth a shot to replace the sensor.
So, I removed the bumper already, and I am at the sensor. Shaking the cables a bit and clean the connector did not have any effect. But, I am not sure, how to get it out. Should I loosen that 16mm one that I marked by the arrow? Or the sensor starts only at the green line, and should come out after the 16mm screw? I don't want to accidentally loosen the valve itself and lose all coolant...
Thanks a lot for the advices!
What do you mean not OE?
And yeah, I was looking for a 24mm one too, but this is the only sensor there, connected to the condenser. The connectior plug seems to be identical to the 24mm version however. My only idea is, that maybe it is different because it is an S6 and not an A6?
