If you use Apple Maps yes. But google nope. Also I used to have directional arrows on my heads up display when using Google Maps but that stopped working and not sure if I messed up the settings somewhere

If you’re referring to the map being displayed in the Virtual Cockpit/driver’s display rather than just on the center screen, it can depend on the model year, infotainment version, and whether you’re using Apple Maps, Google Maps, or another navigation app through CarPlay. On many A5/S5 models, CarPlay navigation is typically shown on the main MMI screen, while the Virtual Cockpit has more limited support compared to Audi’s built-in navigation. It might help if you post a photo of the display you’re expecting to see, as Audi changed the system quite a bit over the years. What year is your A5/S5, and does it have the Virtual Cockpit option?
