Default Crankcase ventilation system missing tubes.

I did a blind buy from germany. Audi A4 B6 Quattro Sedan. For context I bought it because it has a really good shell and relatively low mileage. When I took a peek at the engine bay I noticed there are clearly some things missing. Firstly when I give it gas and let off, there is a loud whoosh sound, which seemed weird cause it was really loud. Then I looked at pictures online and there are two tubes, one from the combi valve going to the turbo and another going from the upper tube going to the intake tube where the metal is. I am explaining this simply because I have no clue what I am talking about. Pls Help.
PCV valve?

Weird metal thing inside where the tube from PCV valve should connect.

Default Laws? Countries?

Sounds like you have imported a car of unknown age across an unknown national boundary and there WILL be emissions compliance laws often governing that.
Here in the US, unless the car was over 25 years old, it would have to pass an expensive emission compliance check/upgrade before it could be put on the road.
So you really should find out if any legal problems arise from a car with emissions tampering, and whether it was sold "as is" or represented as a legally running car.

The second question is why those parts were removed. Perhaps to bypass or cripple the turbine? Or other way to "get it running" when some expensive work needs to be done?

Either way...find someone who KNOWS the import laws (unless you just bought it for parts) and then find out what problem(s) have intentionally been hidden by the seller. I would be most surprised if it just needed an EGR part and a couple oh hoses.

Good luck.

The whooshing sound is the diverter valve recirculating boost pressure into the turbo inlet pipe. It’s completely normal for an Audi A4. It’s most likely louder since you have an open hole in your airbox where the secondary air injection (SAI) pipe below the airbox should be. It has been deleted since there is nothing going to the silver topped combi valve in the first picture. It would be easy enough to put it back to stock if you found a part out locally.

It passed the inspection no problem, even like this XD. No blue smoke from the exhaust or anything like that, drives fine, doesn't overheat. Only thing is that rpms fluctuate about 50 rpm but only when cold, most likely due to the huge vacuum leak because of the missing tubes.
