Lane assist (lane centering) not working.

Lane assist (lane centering) not working.
Canadian vehicle..
Has anyone had an issue with lane guidance? We have a 2021 e-tron sportback with approximately 50,000 KM (31,000 miles).
When cruise control is on, everything works, except lane guidance (lane centering), it used to work just fine so we know the vehicle came with the option. To make it even more confusing, active lane assist works but we cannot turn lane guidance on.
When you go into the MMI the option is greyed out and when you touch the screen it says it is not available. It will not turn on with the button on the cruise control stalk either.
We have had it in the shop no less than 9 times, Audi Germany technical assistance has been involved, they have done software updates, an alignment, and replaced the front camera but still nothing.
Our service advisor told us they just had another vehicle come in with the same issue.
Has anyone had this issue, if so have you come up with a fix?
