A8 (and some other models) production line - in much detail
A version of this was released when the D5 entered series production, as I remember obsessing over it as I needed to get through the 'firewall'.
I was looking for that video and came across this, released *3* years ago - notably the first part is the shell of the D5 in a lot of detail. This is a serious update to the original one and gave me the information I needed. Namely, the firewall itself is actually dual layered (like on a Rolls Royce), and then there's the visible 'gap' covered by the plastic cover that we see in the engine bay, so technically, I guess, it's a triple layer.
