Oil Pressure Light

Hello guys, recently I bought myself a 2008 Audi A4 Quattro. After fixing the common coolant flange problem I was daily driving the car for about 2-3 weeks. One day on my way home I heard a clunk, but all seemed fine to my eyes and I didn't see a leak. After starting it the next day it sounded differently, and was idling poorly. I thought it might have been something to do with my PCV and had to get to work. On my way to work my Oil Pressure light came on. After pulling over there was a pool of oil that accumulated under my passenger side. I since have lifted the car up and I see alot of oil on my passenger side but there is no visible leak, I started the car again and it sounded (to my inexperienced ears) like my top end wasn't getting any oil. I also didn't see a single drop of oil after starting it again. My dip stick also had oil still on it, around the min level. I have code P000A, unsure if it is related. I'm just seeing if anyone has had an experience like this and could tell me what to look for/ what is wrong. I'm always willing to work on my own stuff and learn about it, just looking for help.

Well first off, any leaking is bad m’kay… also what kind of engine do you have? Dipstick read full or low?

You can also just pull the oil cap off while it’s running and look to see if there is any oil splashing around.

Check your oil first to see if it is low. If so, top it off. Also, get the car on ramps and slide under there to find the leak. Try to avoid driving the car until you fix your leak. You don’t want to damage your engine.
