BG: B7 steering wheel retrofit from A1
Hello guys, i just bought myself a MFSW from A1 2015 and i wish to fit it to my B7 2007, which by now is with multi-wheel from B8 and the high-end wheel module. I know about the different LIN protocols but what i found out is that both the new and old wheel (buttons) have 3-pin connector, so i wonder would it work (even partly) if i wire these cables. I can easily find which one is ground, 12V and Lin signal but it still comes to the moment with the different Lin protocols. A friend of mine told me about a decoder that transfers the different lin signals and would work, but i am not sure. So if someone has already done this, please help.
