Default On U.S. bound A4's, the intercooler is located on the driver's side but...

...all of the A4's sold in Germany, have an intercooler that's mounted on the PASSENGER side. Weird, huh?

Would be better due to less plumbing. Interesting conversion for some one.

Since they can be mounted on both sides...is there space to put a second one in?

Default Really? My understanding was that you could tell...

...which side the driver is usually on in a car's country of origin by the placement of the fuel door. Although different dashboard configurations are available for cars destined to be sold in different countries, the position of the gas door remains the same for the sake of simplicity/cost. For example, an American car (left hand drive, has the fuel door on the left hand side) I assumed that this held true worldwide.

Default I have noticed that Transverse FWD cars have the engines opposite the driver .

German transverse FWD cars the engine is on the right, they driver on the left. Japanese trans.FWD are on the left and the driver(in japan ) on the right.
