help with 98 A4 clear projectors.

hi new to this board but i just picked up a 98 2.8 and was going to change my ugly lights for those one piece projectors. anyone ever do that install and know what "shaving 1/4 inch means" like if i have to shave the insides or the painted surface.

Been done...

...going to trim the inside of the fender for the housings to fit properly. Not a major surgery. Mostly to cure fitment issues going from two to one piece headlights.

just be carefull with the dremel, they have been known to "like" fingers ;-))

I used tin snips to cut in and then a dremel tool to finish it off.
