I saw a chip turner that can do some crazy things. Mine is a 01' SE, seeing that they bumped up the HP to 205. The lag is a little more than annoying. I saw a chip that will bring it to 240HP.... The quest continues..

Unfortunatly there really isnt much out there for Saab tuning but...
there is one difinitve site for the 9-3s. Kinda like the AWE/APR/SPP of Audis and that site is

I have a Saab also...
Check the performance forum at saabnet. The model specific forum is mostly questions regarding how to install mudflaps, etc.
You might want to check out <a href="http://www.abbottracing.com">Abbott Racing</a>, <a href="http://www.saab-hirsch.ch">Hirsch</a>, <a href="http://www.saabtuning.com">Nordic</a>, <a href="http://www.f-racing.com">F Racing</a>, <a href="http://www.spg9.com">Saab Performance Group</a>, <a href="http://www.saabperformanceparts.com">Saab Performance Parts</a>, and <a href="http://www.biltec.com">Biltec</a>.
You just have to know where to look. Many people don't realize how tunable Saabs are. Just a chip and a full exhaust will give you 240HP. Also most people don't realize there is an enthusiast community out there that does modify their cars. On your 9-3 to start, get a chip, downpipe, and exhaust, remove the turbo silencer, and polish the throttle transition. Email me if you have any questions.
