Default Does everyone who has their car lowered

have the lower part of their front bumber (black plastic) all scratched up from going up driveways and stuff??? Cause mine is and I am wondering if it is going to be a problem if i decide to paint my lowers?

Default mine is as well...

and yes, that means you'll have to be extra careful after you paint it. one body shop told me to get a new one before they would paint it.

Default not that part, but underneath that (the little belly thing with the air channels)

that thing is scratched, cracked, and about to fall off.

Default if you get a new one then wouldn't it be pointless cause

the new one is going to get all scratched up anyhow?

Default oh...you're talking about the belly pan you have to remove to get to the oil filter/drain plug?

i was talking about the lower edge of the front bumper.

Default well actually both

the piece that u have to remove to get to the the oil pan , on m y car, is already ripped but the black piece that is attacted to the bumber is just all scratched up.

Default I really want to get skirts likes these on my car

but i am afraid that i won't clear speedbumps and they will get even more scratched up cuz of less ground clearance but the car looks so much cleaner.
