Anybody buy the GIAC chip for the 30valve 2.8...What are your thoughts???

And I love it... DjNelson on this board has the chip as well, actually we got it the same day.. He will defend the chip very well..
I think it was well worth the money.. The rev limiter and red line are increased, also they power band starts much earlier and you feel you have power all the way up to red line..
Not a huge difference in HP but a lot things were modified that I think the chip is well worth it..
I have not heard one person with the GIAC chip that did not like it... Any more questions feel free to ask...

yes it is DBW, not too sure, I only drove a non-DBW once
But I did notice the difference even with the chip.. I think there is always going to be a minimal ammoun of lag because of the DBW systems mechanics... Its not as dramatic as some people think but its still there....
