Is extended warranty worth it?
Dealer wants to sell me an extended warranty before I hit 50K. I can't buy it afterwards.
Fairly comprehensive warranty to 100K costs $2200.00.
Seems kind of expensive to me.
What do you think?

YES it is worth it.
There are a lot of computer gizmo's, quattro, etc. etc. and Audi parts are expensive.
As long as you are not paying for overlap of your factory warranty it is well worth the security IMHO.
I've had my car 6 months and have had to replace the door locking computer and the starter relay.
