Saturn Sky concept- looks somewhat like the TT
Saturn also will have a new concept at Detroit, designed to generate excitement in a brand long known for its sensible cars and friendly dealerships. The Saturn Sky is a four-seat convertible with back seats that fold down to make way for a rigid cover that transforms the Sky into a two-seat roadster. There is a rear access door for back-seat riders, like the one in the current Saturn S-series coupes. The gauges are centered at the top of the dashboard instead of in front of the steering wheel.
A supercharged 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine provides up to 180 horsepower for the Sky.
Neither the Terra4 nor the Saturn Sky has received the go-ahead for production. GM also will have other concepts at the NAIAS 2002 in January. GM officials did not indicate whether sneak peeks of those vehicles would be available.
