S4 ??? when? model?

Hi, Does anyone know when the new AUDI S4 will be available in the U.S.? I'm especially interested in the S4 AVANT. Will it be available?? Any idea on pricing? Thanks, Peter C. '95 M3

I once had a deposit for the S4 back in Nov '97. I eventually gave up after 8 months and bought a new 5 series bmw. It's been a while since I've visited this page and can't believe that people are still waiting for that car. I still lust after every A4 that I see on the road and the S4 should be a great car. But since the introduction of the S4, the new three series bmw made its debut in Europe and in the US. The new 5-series based M5 might even come soon after the S4. Thnaks for your feedback. I agree with you and I'm looking at both the new 3-series and the 5-series. I would like a wagon, though, and figured that an S4 Avant would give alot of bang for the buck. Until I act, however, I'll just have to ride around smiling in the M3. Peter C '95///M3 Coupe
