Update on Car Condition (from below)
I took the car to the dealer, alignment was checked, they got the mud, grass, and roadside tundra fragments off the car. Great service, wheels came back from alignment clean (no grass or brake dust)... which is good, since the windchill here in Madison is brutal today and washing it on my own would have been an adventure.<p>Thanks to all offering advice, critique, and comment below. I could have handled the situation better, but the end result could have been much worse. In retrospect, I'm still surprised the car wasn't damaged, given the situation and my speed upon leaving the road.<p>Record number of accidents that night, btw, according to the news here in Madison. I'm glad I didn't end up calling Audi Advantage (mobility) or the police and instead only had to call a friend to tell her I was arriving in time despite my incident.<p>Thanks again for your interest and help.<p>Cameron
