Default What kind of fuel am I supposed to use(ie octane) on a 1.8T
I just wanted to know what kind of octane I'm supposed to use on my 1.8Turbo. My boyfriend has a Eclipse Turbo and has to use 92 or better octane. Will I have to do the same since I have a turbocharger?

The higher the octane, the better.

Rule is: The less cylinders your engine has, the more octane you need. Go w/ the max.

Default Does it make a diff. which gas station you use (91 oct.)?
The prices here vary 15-20 cents/gallon.
Is Chevron bettern than 76, Shell, etc?

I seem to have the best luck with Texaco and Chevron

I get the best gas milage with Philips 66, but they might not be in your area.
