So really, how hard is the E-Code install on a '96?
I have heard tons of different things. I have a 1996 A4 and I want to buy the E-Code housings but I am affraid I wont be able to install them myself. How much fender cutting is required for the install and how hard is it to cut your fender? Are there pictures or instructions anywhere?

allow at least 4 hours for a good and unrushed installation.
you can cut the entire lip but you don't need to. just need patience to cut then fit, cut more then fit, cut more then fit...etc. i'd say install is relatively easy if you have the tools.
