Hmm... cracked intercooler core?
But, I'm still getting the occasional (although slightly less often) limp mode with the negative deviation error code. This means there is still a pressure leak somewhere. While at DSR, we were snooping around the engine bay looking at all the hoses which contain boost. We noticed that right behind the driver's side headlight, the wires and such were coated with a fine misting of oil. Dick at DSR said this could possibly be where the boost leak is happening, because turbocharged cars can sometimes have a small bit of oil in the pressurized intake air. (I thought that only happened if the turbo seals were bad, thus allowing oil to get through.) But anyway, these wires and such are right above the intercooler, which is about the only thing in that area which could possibly be squirting anything even remotely oil-like, right?
So what do you all think? Cracked intercooler? Bad hose connection? Bad hose? Anyone wanna come over and take a look for yourself?

I doubt I can get any warranty service on it, so I'm on my own on this one.
Heck, if the intercooler is bad, that's a good reason to go for an FMIC.
Keep it real,

I'm bummed I didn't make it to DSR earlier! You'll have to check out my K04 now that it works. It's really something now that it works.
