Anyone else have trouble burning CD's with windows XP?

I'm using Adaptec Platnium 5 with XP updates. Works well.

Default Its a F$$King pain to burn CD's especially with WMA in XP
XP froze my comp. when I tried to burn a CD. After I rebooted, my CDRW drive was termed as "not present". I'm looking for other software to try to burn CD's.

Default I gave up and set up another computer w/ win98 and EZCD 4.08
on the network and burn from that one.

Winxp sucks at burning cd's.

Yes, I tried EZCD 5 and the music cd "clicks" at the end of tracks.

Default You might need to get new ASPI drivers...
You can probably find them through a search engine or somewhere like download.com. Also, EZCD hates XP and XP's own burning program is pretty damn crappy. I recommend using Nero Burning ROM.

mine came with Roxio CD creator, works great with XP!
