Here's something else I was playing with Saturday...

Got a sheet of aluminum, reflective insulation, matching tape....
used cardboard to get the right shape as a template, marked the alignment points from the front weatherstrip to the firewall weatherstrip with grease, shut the hood to mark it, then cut to fit. Made sure to have the hole for the intake tube padded(so it won't get cut) and large enough to not stress or kink it. It's actually anchored at the firewall, lower beam, and that top black cover, so it's not going anywhere.
When the "RS4" bumper is done, there'll be a ram air tube coming up from the right lower grille, too.
