if i were to buy a bumper from lltek...the RS4 one...would it work on my car? MORE

I wrecked my car and the front bumper is destroyed. I want to order the RS4 front bumper to replace it. However, if my bumper is trashed...then i have to replace the piece that the bumper mounts to. And is there another piese to the bumper that is not just the shell? Or does the RS4 bumper come with everything i need to just rip my old bumper off and mount it to the old brackets?

I have the Rieger RS4 bumper from LLTEK...

It does not come with everything you need. It's the full bumper, yes. You need to use the aluminum reinforcement from your OEM bumper and glue it into the RS4 bumper. Yes, you do use the OEM bumper mounts in the front, but not on the sides.

I bought mine from LLTek and it did not have headlight washer holes. Big Nipper bought his from DTM Autohaus and it came with RS4 bumper holes - the covers mount flush to the bumper - they don't stick up like the OEM ones.

u need ur original bumper's internals...most likely they'll be usable

OK, but is there something that the Aluminum Shock Abs. are mounted to behing the bumper shell?

I can see the aluminum, and the bumper is broken...so all i need to do is remove the shock absorbers and glue them to the RS4 bumper and then mount the bumper to the uni body? there is nothing samwiching the shock absorbers to the original bumper? I just want to make sure that there are only 2 things i need, and then the bumper mounts to the car.
