Oxygenated fuel on A6 1.8T

I have been using oxygenated fuel for my car here in Singapore where summer is all round the year. Is it going to be bad for the engine ? Why and why not ?

depends what the content is. are you one of the lucky owners of a 1.8t in an a6?

Whereabouts do you live? I used to live on Leonie Hill Road! I miss Singapore. Of course,

we drove BMW's back then. I never saw too many Audi's there. Moved away in '96. Just wanted to say hi.

almost all of the fuel here in the states is oxygenated and we arent having any probs

but you may have a diffrent mixture over there....

Hi abesin, I am staying in Bukit Panjang. Even now, there aren't many people driving Audis here. But I have no regrets buying it. I am loving every minute of drive in it.

Yes, I am driving an A6 1.8T, believe they don't carry the model in the States as it is too mild over there. The petrol that I am using is called Shell V power. Not too sure about the content. Just heard that using it is detrimental for the engine.
