Need help installing NOS on my 2000 A4 1.8t....
I have a drive by wire and was wondering how to set up the kit on this type of car. If anyone has a kit on a 2000 or up A4 or simply knows the answer please help. I may be installing it as soon as this coming friday. Thanks

Might do more research first.
Not saying it's good, not saying it's bad. For the most part, I'd say people shy away from it around here. It could be a good thing though, if installed and used properly. Good luck.

If you don't know all that there is to know about adding NOS better read what can happen when you

It is the real NOS with the big blue bottle. I will research it a little more but...
was hoping for some input about setting it up on the A4. I am getting the kit from my friend for $100 and it is coming off his Jetta GLX (VR6 engine). This kit is only a 50 shot and hasn't had any negative affects on his engine. He is selling it to me because he just doesn't use it anymore because he is building a bug drag car. It is somrthing I plan to only use at the track and every once in a while on the road. I am nervous of damaging my engine so i will not push it with the NOS. It is just to good of a deal to pass up. The problem i have that the kit is set up for full throttle engaugment through a switch connected on the throttle cable so when armed it will only engauge during full throttle. Whereas in my car it is all electrical, so i was wondering if it could be activated via a button on the steering wheel or shifter (like in the fast and the furious 
)). I saw an Audi at The Hot Import Nights in Atlantic City last year with nitrous so i know it can be done but just wondering how. Does anyone know whos car i saw, I think it was parked next to Dmak's car.

ha ha you saw it on a car at a show. you know how many cars have it on they're car as Show! they don
't use it dude. and if you do you will put exreme stress on your engine. i suggest not, but if you must be a cool guy then chance it.....

Man, a lot of you still wanna play with laughing gas despite the dangers from a not properly...
programmed one. I have seen pistons flew out of a big block Chevy's during a drag race and those parts are cheap and accessible. Audi parts especially late models like these will cost you lots of $$$ to replace a motor and a big fat "void" on your warranty on your car. You rather spend it on other mods to make a few more ponies or NOS can give your motor the last laugh!!!
