im looking for a chip, can someone help,

i have a 98.5 1.8 and want to get a chip, dont know what the bars mean, what chip would u guys say that i should get? also if anyone is selling one i may be interested.

Here we go again...

1. Most important thing is that you get the chip installed by a local shop, so they can take a lok should there be a problem, however unlikely. Since you're not under warranty anymore, you don't need a stock ECU as badly as others might.

2. Great chips include: GIAC, APR, Neuspeed 1.3bar. These are the most popular; there are more.

(amount of pressure the turbo pushes into the engine. More pressure = more power)

if you mention where you live, someone local may have some good input.

there seem to be many good chip/tuning companies so most people here want local support. find out who is in your area. also check the classifieds for used chips...
