Anyone know of a hack to get the non-Bose radio to displace the Bose name when turned on? (m)
My friend somehow managed to do it in his car. I don't car to do it cause I don't listen to music in my car and if I had a choice, I would remove the audio equipment for the sake of saving weight. Just curious as to how he did it.

I have done this
Well I went from bose to non-bose on an A6 2.7t. I think it does change the tone. On my Bose system, setting it to be non-bose seems to have alot more bass. It feels like the door speakers are producing more bass in this mode. (The A6 has a sub in the trunk as well.) Anyhow I don't remeber what the code is but if you search the S4 forum I asked this question a couple 0f weeks back and someone replied with the answer.
