i was driving about 65is in the middle lane and about 200 feet in front of me there was this car not moving as fast as i was.. so i look to the left and see this S 500 doing about 65ish as well cause he wasn't gaining much on my left side... so i signal to the left, switch lanes and go back over to the middle.... however, i must of looked away for a second, cause when i was in the middle land for that five seconds, the S 500 was right up my a$$... then about 1/2 mile away from the exit for work.. he was up my booty in the middle lane... all the way to the exit's stop light.. now at the stop light the S 500 is behind me..

i'm looking in the rearview mirror.. and noticed this mid aged very sofisticated looking man in a suit.. and.. i was like HOLY $hit!!! that's the F'in CEO!!! oh man am i screwed... his driver just kept looking at me hard... so the light turned green and i floored it... i was out of there like a bat out of hell... i purposely missed the entrance to work so no one in the car knew that i was an employee there..

WHEW...after doing 90 in a 50.. and keeping out of sight the CEO's car.. i made a quick u turn and went back to the entrance.. and there was the S 500 parked next to the helicopter landing.. and driver helping the CEO get his stuff..

Hopefully i don't get that call later today.... Is this Mondo? - yeah - good, you're fired!!

Lesson:

learn what car your CEO rides/drives

 

Was driving up to a client site and was running a little behind. The head of my group was coming up to the client site along with the CEO. Big Lexus is going slow - don't want to get stuck behind him so I made the move.

I saw the opportunity and I took it. There was no danger.

I still had 50 miles to go, so I made sure to loose them. The CEO never knew it was me. The hea of my group....well...he never said a thing.

Moral of the story - only cut off the big cheese when you can totally loose him.

 

Something tells me that won't happen to me, CEO has an M5

He didn't figure out it was her until she called him into her office and asked if he knew what kind of car she drove. He was mortified, and thought for sure he was outta there. Later that week she brought in a bumper sticker for him that said "Horn Broke, Watch for Finger". He still has it pinned up in his cube. Cool Boss. She thought it was pretty funny.

 

Actually, never cut the cheese in front of the CEO unless a subordinate is in the room.

 

The "real" lesson - don't cut people off, it is rude, regardless of what you drive
