ESP is the Electronic Stabilizing Program, it keeps your S4 driving where the nose of the car is pointing. Yes, It is a standard equipment on the MY2001 S4. It works quite well with Quattro. Try it out in the rain once and you'll know the differnce.

oh..didn't mean to imply you specifically were bitching and moaning though. it just seems in the last few months the forum has really taken on a more bitchy tone overall
