Drove an Allroad while S4 was being serviced
I drove a brand new allroad yesterday while my S4 was being serviced. It is a beautiful SUV. It had a Tiptronic, so it felt alot different. Also, it only had 51 miles on it so it seemed like it had not adapted yet, but for a station-wagon/SUV it was pretty peppy. The torque from the 2.7TT works very well in it.
The variable height suspension was the coolest and the ground clearance is amazing at full up.
I was amazed that Pirreli created a special purpose speed-rated offroad tire just for the Allroad. It is branded with the Allroad name and logo. I think the salesman said Michelin had done the same also.
