Motorola Timeport/Startac installation revisted
has anyone successfully integrated their timeport/startac to use the mic in the car and the speakerphone? any help or nudge in the right direction would be appreciated!

eventhough motorola makes Audi phone, Startac is not compatible...
with any of the installed products. I installed mine and simply replaced the mic with the one from the startac kit. You can use the speaker in the drivers door if you DONT have nav. You will not be able to get the auto radio mute, though. Best of luck!

Could you offer some more details on this installation? I could neither get the car's speaker nor the car's microphone to work with my StarTac install.
I ended up using the Motorola install kit completely, though I was able to wire it up for power.
