What are the best all-around tires in stock size for the S4?

Default What are the best all-around tires in stock size for the S4?
I would like a tire that rides well and has great grip....any opinions?

S-02 PP?
PZero Rosso?
AVS Sport?

Default I was thinking of the AVS sports for my next set of tires, maybe 235/40. However,
I heard they might be on the loud side. How do they compare with the stock RE040s in terms of road noise?

Yeah, they're louder, but most of us have the 235/40; 225/45 should be quieter than the 235/40

Default I have A520's and they were $110 each in 235/40-17
It's a great tire, not as good as the AVS Sports but way better than the CRAP tires it came with. I think most people would find these tires very good, especially for the price.

If ulimate grip is what you want, then get the Sports.

They are definitely louder!......I think I got one thats not true. At 45mph drives me nuts!

Default The AVS Sports also perform great in the wet...
...when it rained the other day, I was just watching the water being evacuated by my left front tire out my driver's side window. Never really noticed my other tires doing so much.

Default Drive slower...
...I notice treadnoise between 50-55, but I'm rarely at that speed. I never noticed it down around 45.

AVS Sports rule. put them on the S4 at 3k miles and on the Porsche at 6k miles. the only way to go..
